National Stage Star 1280T by Valco Vintage 1950s Electric Guitar Tube Amplifier. The amplifier pictured is the actual amp you will receive! Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving. This process takes over an hour for each instrument – from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! This 1950′s National Stage Star 1280T amp made by Valco is a rare find! This appears to have only been produced for approximately one year, as it made just a single appearance in the National catalogs from the mid 1950′s. This amp has 4 – 12AX7 preamp tubes, a 5UGB rectifier tube, and new JJ 7027A power tubes – installed by our in-house tech, 2 volume and 1 tone knob, Intensity and Speed knobs for the tremolo, as well as 4 instrument inputs and a footswitch input. 4 – 6″ x 11″ Rola speakers. The original schematic diagram is also included, although due to its age it is fragile, so while we did photograph it, we did not unfold it to do so. This 1280T sports an incredible era-appropriate aesthetic, including a lustrous chrome “refrigerator” handle.
